Programmable Logic Controllers

PLCs are highly customisable controllers that will interface to all sorts of equipment across networks, controlling processes and collating data.  This is one of our strong suits, so please give us a ring to discuss any requirements or ideas that you have.

Human Machine Interfaces 

A good HMI is the only way to see what's going on. When the screens are laid out in a logical way with the necessary information to hand potential issues can be avoided. We can develop screens that include all the diagnostic information and even full redundancy to keep your process running smoothly.

Motors

Variable Speed Drives (VSD, VFD) are common place on conveyors and pumps. We have a huge amount of experience in specifying and design systems around them. In some instances we can design a system that uses the built in logic control of the drive to provide a standalone system, or communicate directly to bring all the data back to the main PLC.

Servos give precise positional control superseding steppers to give fast repeatable motion. We can integrate them into your process, modify your existing control strategy, or upgrade to a current model.

Robots

When a movement needs to be across more than one axis we move onto robots. We have used a lot of different robots in the past and are currently focusing on the 'cobot' solution from universal robots where there is no need for complicated guarding systems (dependent upon the job in hand).

Pneumatics

Are a flexible way to make your equipment move and we have experience with selecting the right kit to make sure they perform at their best.

Hydraulics

We control hydraulic systems, but leave actual hydraulic work to one of our service partners.

Vision Systems

There are a lot of situations when the best way to accurately determine a product is in position or assembled correctly is to use a vision system. Vision systems have come a long way, and can vary from complete PC based solutions to simpler sensors.

Safety

Safety is an incredible important aspect of any automation project. We are ready to risk assess your equipment offer solutions, and calculate the required safety category then design a safety circuit to meet that requirement.

Drawings & Schematics

All of our drawings use IEC standard symbols and will be produced in CAD.

Control Panels

We can build control panels either to your design or our own.
